Does it understand Tamil from Sri Lanka and Singapore?
Yes. The speech model has heard Tamil from India, Sri Lanka and elsewhere. Clear recordings give the best results whatever the accent.
What about Tamil mixed with English (Tanglish)?
Mixed speech works: English words usually come out in English, the Tamil in Tamil script. For mostly-English speech choose English or Auto-detect instead.
Can I make Tamil subtitles?
Yes. Download the transcript as an .srt subtitle file with timings and add it in YouTube, CapCut, Premiere Pro or VLC.
